On 15th of February, during a club meeting in Lithuania, students were given the task to find out how to find information about sustainable development and recycling.

They talked to their family members about whether they live sustainably.

On 30th of March, the club discussed sustainability and 'fast fashion'. About how the production of clothes pollutes our world. Also about plastic in the ocean and how animals die after eating it. Examples based on video materials were analyzed.

Online meeting with the participation of teachers

 

We held another online working meeting related to our project Become ECOnfident.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the organizations HEureka Generator, Tavo Europa and Evolution participating in the project and teachers from the partner schools of these organizations from Poland, Lithuania and Romania.

During the meeting we discussed issues related to:

• preparation of extracurricular clubs in partner schools
• the frequency of meetings of such clubs
• the possibility for young people to participate in international meetings
• support of young people by teachers

Next month another meeting, this time with the participation of youngsters.

Working meeting

 Today, an online working meeting related to the project we are implementing under Key Action 2 of the European Erasmus + program was held.

We are continuing the Become ECOnfident project at the local level in Lithuania, Romania and Poland.

Local meeting

On November 6, in Motycz Leśny near Lublin, a local meeting in frames of the 'Become ECOnfindent' project took place.

Representatives of the HEureka Generator association met with Ms. Renata Lewandowska, an English teacher at the Juliusz Słowacki Elementary School in Małochwiej Duży.

During the meeting, we discussed the 15-month calendar of activities in the project, what the tasks of schools and youth are and how the formation of youth clubs in schools will be supported by NGOs from Poland, Lithuania and Romania. Our next step is an online meeting with the Evolution association and the Tavo Europa association.
